A lot has been made in the press of the rise of “metro-sexual man”, but today more men are open to taking care of themselves and their skin. It’s no big deal for a man to use a moisturising product, but go back 20 years and the story would be totally different.
Male grooming products are still packaged very much to the male market, with manly colours, gift boxes and product design. As men’s skin is generally different to women’s there’ll always be a difference between beauty products and grooming products, but things are moving in the right direction.
