Now you can find out what all the hype is about with a one day course, designed to give you the fundamentals of kiteflying, which is 90% of what kitesurfing is all about. There’s an introduction to all the equipment and safety is covered before the fun really starts and you hit the water. By the end of the day, depending on your progress you’ll have practiced body dragging (being pulled over the water by the kite) and might start attempting some board starts.
The course will last for 5 to 6 hours, with start times varying due to tide times. Kitesurfing is a weather dependent sport.
