Butterfly Garden

This Butterfly Garden kit allows children to learn about life cycles.

The Butterfly Garden kit contains:

• Certificate for five live Painted Lady caterpillars (no live specimens are in the kit).
• Reusable Habitat Net (30 cubic cm).
• Feeding kit and full instructions.

The kit contains a certificate for live caterpillars, which you send off for through the post, or you can collect your own from the garden. Just place your caterpillars in the net and watch them grow.

When the caterpillars change into chrysalides, open the cup and place the white paper disc inside their hatching habitat. When the butterflies hatch, fresh flowers can be placed in the hatching habitat before you release the butterflies into nature.

The life cycle takes around three to five weeks, so please be aware of this when ordering.
