The days of White Christmas are pretty much a thing of the past for all but the highest areas of the UK. Many of us can remember thick white snow on Christmas Day as children or in our youth, but a few snowflakes once every three or four years doesn’t quite cut it.

No White Christmas again? Have a Green Christmas
With our weather in disarray and our seasons seeming to melt into one, climate change is a reality that most people are now accepting. So, if we can’t have a White Christmas, just like the ones we used to know, we’d better be looking to have a Green Christmas. As we spend so much money each Christmas and give so many gifts, thinking about the green credentials of the presents we buy is just good sense.
While there are plenty of green products out there to choose from, some are greener than others. One area which could make a great choice is Gadgets, with many solar powered, wind-up and wind powered gadgets available for people of all ages. With most people owning mobile phones and MP3 players, such as iPods, a solar charger would make a great Christmas present. Not only is it a gift which will save money, it will also save electricity – something we should all be looking to do.
