Every year I tell myself the same thing. This year I’ll get all my Christmas gift shopping done well before Christmas Eve – and maybe this year I will. And yes, I am a man.
You go shopping on Christmas Eve and see thousands of men in the same boat as you are, desperately trying the find something worthy of their loved ones. Why do we do it? In my defence, I do buy most of my Christmas gifts in advance, usually over the Internet, but there’s always a mad dash on Christmas Eve for something. I put a lot of thought into most of the gifts I buy and I’ve never just plumped for the obvious, but there’s always something last minute there.

Why it’s best to buy gifts well before Christmas
Buying your Christmas gifts well in advance gives you a better choice, more time to find something different or unusual, and the chance to shop on the Internet. The Internet is generally cheaper than the high street and there’s much more choice. Anyone who’s trudged around department stores on a cold December Saturday will welcome the warmth and comfort of browsing on the Internet.
We’ve put together quite a collection of gift ideas to suit everyone you’ll be buying a Christmas gift for this year – and with a wide range of budgets. It’s easy to find something you’d not thought of before that’ll suit someone right down to the ground.
