Planting trees should be a priority for everyone

We should all be looking at ways to help our planet and planting trees is a great way to help. There are more eco friendly companies looking to offset their carbon footprint by planting trees; and maybe you could too. We all have a carbon footprint, but by planting a tree you can offset the amount of carbon you’re responsible for releasing. In case you didn’t know, trees breathe in carbon dioxide and breathe out oxygen.

Planting a tree could be the ideal gift

If you know somebody who cares about the planet too, and they don’t have to be an eco-warrior; planting a tree could be the ideal gift. Giving an environmentally friendly gift is an amazingly rewarding thing to do. The feeling you get from knowing you’ve done a little good is something special.

If more people could give selfless gifts, particularly at Christmas when so many gifts are exchanged, we might all be thankful. It’s even a present you could by for yourself. Buy one for somebody you know and one for yourself – to double the good you’re doing.
